Carnival barkers are people that stand outside their area and call to you to come inside…they always offer the greatest show on earth…the best thing you’ll ever see…come in and get your thrills and chills…etc. etc.   Abraham called himself a pilgrim just passing through this life.  Jesus said, “Here I am!  I stand at the door and knock.  If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.  To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.  He who has an ear, let him hear… Revelation 3:20-22  Just tell Jesus you want to hear His voice…tell him you want ears that really hear!  We get so hungry!!!  Jesus will come in and eat with you!  He will never let you down and He always satisfies!

As you climb the mountain…people say you will get to the top if you don’t look down!  In this day and age with all the pressures, stresses and demands etc. do you know how easy it is to look down ?  It’s a moment by moment thing…with each step we have to encourage ourselves not to look down.  And in those times when we get too drained…guess what?  God always sends another to encourage us not to look down!

Do you know how hard it is to NOT look sideways?  Luke 6: 37 Says we must not always judge, condemn, and we should always be forgiving.  Wow do you know how hard that is for humans?  Judging and condemning others is the ultimate snack food!  We feed on  those crusty little morsels of judgement and condemnation.  But did you know those bitefuls are actually killing us from the inside out?  We are constantly watching what others are doing or not doing…and it’s killing us…STOP Watching and START lifting you and others up into the Holy Hands of Our God…don’t WATCH for results…that’s like digging up good seeds you have planted to check on it’s growth…You uproot your prayers when you check on those little prayer seedlings.  Don’t you know YOU are a full time job in yourself.   Let God  consistently be the lifter of our head.  Try this…keep your head straight and breathe through your mouth…now try breathing through your mouth as you tilt your head back…the airway is increased.  There is a lot to be said about God being the lifter of our head as He breathes His breath into our lives.  I know I sure need More of Him and less of Me!

Paul constantly fought between his walk with God and what his flesh wanted to do.  Strife or Life…All live in a parallel universe. ..we constantly fight against the control….Paul finally said I only know Christ and Him crucified…Are You doing your own thing and think know one knows or will find out…Guess What?  Think Again…All things get exposed in their moment of time…your private thoughts eventually are made public…get over yourself and get on with God’s Program for your life…Time is Running OUT!!!  You got to STOP aborting God’s Plan for YOU!

Did you know by reading the Bible you are actually feeding your spirit?  Jesus said He was the living water…anyone who comes to HIM will never thirst again!  It’s time to re-hydrate in Him.  Write down a verse and drink it in All Day!

Write a scripture verse out for your day…I use mine for a coaster…whenever I pick up my drink…I am also “eating (consuming) the word of God.  Remember God’s Word is referred to as the Bread of Life…Taste and see how good the LORD is!   Or put your Bible Verse under your mouse…wherever and whatever works for you just be sure you are writing out those verses!

Frustration is a word commonly used in our society today as people are feeling life’s pressure close in around them.  We must cast our cares on the LORD…He cares for US!!!  Casting our cares on Jesus is a Command on our lives……NOT an option.  We will lose ground fast if we don’t place our hands in the nail scarred hands of Jesus…Never forget He is there for YOU!
